Savory, herb-infused Greek beef patties are pan-fried until golden, served alongside a crisp, refreshing salad for a light yet satisfying dinner.

Ingredients
- Ground Beef (80/20) 300 g
- Onion 1/4 small
- Garlic 1 clove
- Fresh Parsley 2 tbsp
- Dried Oregano 1 tsp
- Breadcrumbs 2 tbsp
- Olive Oil 1 tbsp
- Salt to taste
- Black Pepper to taste
- Romaine Lettuce 1/2 head
- Cucumber 1/2
- Tomato 1 medium
- Red Onion 1/4 small
- Kalamata Olives 8-10
- Feta Cheese 50 g
- Olive Oil (for dressing) 2 tbsp
- Red Wine Vinegar 1 tbsp
- Lemon Wedges 2
How to Cook
- In a medium bowl, combine ground beef, finely minced onion, minced garlic, chopped fresh parsley, dried oregano, breadcrumbs, salt, and black pepper. Mix gently with your hands until just combined, being careful not to overmix.
- Divide the beef mixture into 4 equal portions. Shape each portion into an oval or round patty, about 1 inch thick.
- Wash and chop the romaine lettuce. Dice the cucumber and tomato. Thinly slice the red onion. Crumble the feta cheese.
- Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large non-stick skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
- Carefully place the formed beef patties into the hot skillet. Cook for 6 minutes on the first side until deeply browned, then flip and cook for another 6 minutes on the second side, or until cooked through to your desired doneness.
- While the patties are cooking, combine the chopped lettuce, diced cucumber, diced tomato, sliced red onion, and Kalamata olives in a serving bowl. Drizzle with 2 tablespoons of olive oil and red wine vinegar. Season with salt and pepper, then toss gently to combine. Top with crumbled feta cheese.
- Transfer the hot biftekia to plates. Serve immediately alongside the fresh Greek salad, with lemon wedges on the side if desired.
